I recently stayed in a 5star hotel in Greece and we had our own private pool suite. This was the first time we had enjoyed a suite with private pool and it was such a lovely bonus. So I wanted to see what the best options available would be in other Greek locations.
Private pool suites can mean premium prices but not always. Greece has some amazing luxury hotels with private pool suites and villas. Here are the most affordable and the most luxurious ones available.
Prices are for the room or villa for the night and can vary depending on the number of people sharing.
CORFU
Affordable 5star…
Kontokali Bay – double private pool room with breakfast – rates start from around £250 per night
Set on a sandy beach within lush gardens this is a relaxed 5 star hotel with lots of facilities. It is great for families and has a kids club and plenty of watersports and a great spa. If the double room with private pool is a bit small the hotel also boats a range of private pool suites.

Cretan Dream, superior pool suite with breakfast – rates start from around £250 per night
This modern luxury hotel sits on a hill with amazing views over the Med, close to the town of Chania. The pool suites are tastefully decorated and have views over the lovely hotel gardens.

Ikies of Mykonos – Private pool villa, room only – rates start from around £240 per night
Ikies is in a quiet and tranquil location in the countryside. More of a small village than a hotel it has ten whitewashed traditionally styled villas. The villas are great for families looking for a bit more space or people looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday. These villas are self catering but of course there are plenty of great tavernas and restaurants in Mykonos. Due to the location of Ikies I would recommend hiring a car.
