When to go
The Caribbean is warm all year round. The dry season generally runs from November to June.
The wet season runs through our summer months, although in the main you will experience short sharp downpours, but still lots of sunshine. There can be storms in this period and some of the Caribbean does experience a ‘hurricane season’ – generally August-September.
The highlights of the Caribbean are the year long sunshine, good food, the hospitality, the palm fringed beaches, cool clear warm waters and exquisite beach front hotels. Enjoy the music of the Islands, the steel bands playing, the dancing. If you like watersports, the Caribbean is home to some of the best scuba diving in the World, along with great surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Golf is also a firm favourite, with lots of new championship courses being built in the last 10 years.
St Lucia has the lush green rainforests and the famous Lucian Pitons Mountains. Visit the caves and waterfalls in Jamaica and Barbados.
