Canada is renowned as a place for the active due to the vast wilderness that is the Canadian Rockies but the Cities of Canada have an appeal too. The French Canadian City of Quebec is the only walled city in North American with the imposing Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac sitting magnificently high above the St Lawrence River. Montreal too has a European charm with an underground city center.

Toronto and Vancouver are the hip modern day cities full of sleek shopping malls, fine dining and excellent entertainment. The Art and music scenes are world renowned in Toronto.


The famous Rocky Mountainneer will take you from Seattle to the Canadian Rockies or Whistler to Vancouver through the most spectacular scenery. You can even take a train journey across the country, from coast to coast for the ultimate rail experience.

Canada is a skiers paradise with some of North America’s best resorts. Whistler and Banff are the well known resorts that offer state of the art facilities and miles of ski terrain for all abilities. It is also worth taking in some of the smaller resorts that offer a more traditional, local flavour. You might want a ski safari and combine two or more resorts, maybe with a city break thrown in too.


The Northern Lights are often a reason to head to this part of the world with the spectacular Niagra Falls in Ontario also on the tourist trail. Other lesser known sights but also worth visiting are pretty Victoria in British Columbia and Prince Edward Island.
